The post-doc will study the evolution of antibiotic resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii, an increasingly important cause of hospital-acquired infections. The responsibilities will include in-depth analysis of comparative genome sequence data to determine the nature and rate of genome variation, including lateral gene transfer.
